Traders in Kanpur India protested against Chinese President and burnt his effigy

   

Kanpur, India: A large number of traders in Kanpur held a protest against China and Chinese Protesting and burnt an effigy of Chinese President Xi Jinping here on today.

Traders led by ‘Akhil Bhartiya Udyog Mandal’ (ABUM) were raising slogans against Chinese products in the Indian markets and said that China has capture wholesales market of India and now it is intruding in the retail markets of the country. Chinese products are being sold everywhere, even the goods being used for Indian festivals like Diwali and Holi are being made in China. Such situation has played havoc with small scale traders and manufactures of India and cottage industry has suffered almost complete elimination. The traders have appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take up their concerns with the visiting Chinese president.
