Sunsilk added to Unilever’s growing portfolio on Daraz.pk

KARACHI: Unilever has expanded on its partnership with Daraz.pk by adding Sunsilk to the portfolio of products available on the online store, says a press release issued on Tuesday.

Earlier this year, Unilever had become the first FMCG in Pakistan to offer an online retail solution for customers.

As part of this latest initiative, customers will be able to purchase Sunsilk from its very own shop-in-shop on Daraz.pk. With the website’s efficient delivery time, free returns, and multiple payment methods including cash on delivery, customers will be able to get their hair fix any time of day, no matter where they are.

The addition of Sunsilk comes as Daraz.pk continues to build on its already extensive offering of international personal care and beauty brands alongside its wide assortment of local labels.

Amir Paracha, VP – Customer Development, Unilever Pakistan Limited, highlighted, “At Unilever, we believe in the potential of e-commerce and are working to make it one of our core channels for customer outreach. We strongly believe in making the purchasing decision easier for our consumers. This initiative goes towards saving consumers the hassle of shopping in supermarkets by offering the advantage of having their favorite Unilever items delivered to their doorsteps.”

Speaking on the occasion, Farees Shah – Cofounder, Daraz.pk said, “Daraz.pk has over 1.7 million visits to its site monthly. Having such a globally popular brand such as Sunsilk come on board is testament to how we are dedicated to offering our customers a wide product-suite and an unparalleled online shopping experience.”

The initiative is part of Unilever’s global e-commerce vision that focuses on increasing revenue share from e-commerce. Pakistan has been identified as a high potential market because of the high mobile penetration and increasing usage of internet across the country. The partnership with daraz.pk is the first of many more planned to go live within this year.
