QUETTA, Pakistan:  Four people including a woman were killed and 13 others recieved injuries in a road accident near Balochistan’s Dera Murad Jamali area on Friday.

Sources said that a passenger wagon, heading to Bhagnari from Dera Murad Jamali, collided with an oncoming coach near Bakhtiyarabad along Sibi-Jacobabad section of the national highway.

   

Four people identified as Malookan Bibi, Shaukat Ali Kabaar, Hazaar Khan and Sultan Ali Bhutto were killed on the spot whereas 13 others were reported injured.

Rescue teams and Levies forces arrived at the scene and shifted the wounded and the dead bodies to Civil Hospital Dera Murad Jamali for treatment and procedures.

The injured were identified as Muhammad Jan, Abdullah, Peeral, Ghulam Rasool, Allah Dina, Ahmed Faqeer, Abdul Rasheed, Allah Wasaya, Imam Khatun, Zareen Bibi, Jamal Khatoon, Ali Ahmad Behrani, Shafi Mohammad, Muhammad Bakhsh, Mashooq Ali, Sughran Bibi, Abdul Latif and Ali Ahmad.

Emergency was declared in the medical facility and the wounded were administered first-aid treatment under the supervision of Administrator of the hospital’s trauma centre Dr. Ayaz Jamali. 10 of the critically injured shifted to Larkana and Quetta hospitals.

Meanwhile, levies forces started the investigation.
