Passenger bus attacked in Hangu, school blown up in Mohmand agency

PESHAWAR, Pakistan: Unknown gunmen opened fire on a passenger bus near Doaba area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Hangu district on Saturday that left at least one person dead and another injured.

   

An investigation into the incident was underway by the police.

Meanwhile, a government girls primary school was blown up by suspected militants in the Mohmand agency early on Saturday. However, no loss of life was reported.

The official sources said that suspected militants had planted explosives in the school situated in the Dando Bridge area of Mohmand agency which went off. The school was partially destroyed.
