MIRANSHAH: A remote-controlled bomb targeted Pakistan army convoy in restive North Waziristan Agency on Sunday, killing a soldier and injuring three others.

Military officials said the roadside bomb exploded on Bannu-Miranshah road in North Waziristan tribal agency, bordering Afghanistan, where an army offensive is currently underway against militant groups local to Taliban and Al Qaida.

   

The bomb attack left a soldier dead and three wounded.
