RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: An Frontier Works Organization (FWO) soldier embraced martyrdom (Shahadat) while clearing slide on the Karakoram Highway (KKH) on Wednesday, according to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).

In a press release issued on Wednesday, the ISPR said that around 11:30 am on Wednesday Sepoy Rab Nawaz was clearing slide at the Karakoram Highway near Jaglot when another slide triggered and he suffered serious injuries.

   

The injured soldier was evacuated to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Gilgit but he could not survive and embraced Shahadat at around 01:30 pm.
