Forex reserves cross $15 billion mark: Ishaq Dar

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The federal minister for finance Ishaq Dar said on Monday that the foreign exchange reserves of the country have crossed $15 billion.

   

The finance minister told this in a meeting with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad on Monday.

The minister gave the prime minister a detailed briefing about economic measures taken by the current government and which made possible to achieve the target.

Ishaq Dar said that $10 billion are with the State Bank of Pakistan and the rest are with Commercial Banks.

The prime minister congratulated the finance minister Ishaq Dar and his team on achieving the success.
