JAMSHORO: A speedy train ran over a rickshaw while it was crossing railway tracks in Sehwan Sharif located in Jamshoro district of Sindh province on Tuesday, killing at least eight persons including six school children and injuring several others.

The sources said that a three-wheeler passenger auto rickshaw carrying school children was on its way and when it tried to cross railway tracks in haste in shrine town of Sehwan in Jamshoro district, it was hit by a fast approaching Shah Nawaz Express.

   

Subsequently, at least eight persons including six school children were killed while several others sustained injuries.

The dead and injured were shifted to a nearby hospital.
