Central Ruet e Hilal Committee to meet today for Eidul Fitr moon

KARACHI, Pakistan: The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will meet in Karachi on Monday evening with Chairman Mufti Muneeb ur Rehman in the chair for the sighting of Shawwal (1435 Hijri) crescent.

   

In a statement, the ministry of religious affairs and interfaith harmony said that the meeting will be held in the building of the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) camp office Karachi.

The zonal committees will also hold their meetings at their respective locations.

Mufti Muneeb ur Rehman will announce the decision of crescent sighting or otherwise subsequently on the basis of information received after evaluating the evidences.
